Tour de Ute

Tour de Ute was the brand name given to the Tiwahe Initiative in 2015 at a Native National Partnership Retreat that engaged 40 federal and state agencies, 20 community partners, and 20 tribal leaders. During the retreat, participants planned a vision and strategy for community development engaging youth and elders as leaders. Between 2015 and 2022, the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe generated over $105M to implement the solutions identified in that retreat. A major emphasis was on storytelling through films and visual arts.
